LUNA at Frankfurt Ambiente 2018｜Messe Frankfurt FRESH TAIWAN

Since its founding in 1949, Ambiente in Frankfurt has grown into one of the world’s leading international trade fairs for consumer goods and lifestyle, with a history spanning nearly 70 years. The fair encompasses three major areas: Dining, Living, and Giving, bringing together design brands and innovative works from around the world.

In 2018, Acorn Studio collaborated with FRESH TAIWAN to take part in this international event, joining a diverse group of Taiwanese design brands and creative studios on the global stage in Frankfurt.

For the exhibition, we presented the new LUNA, together with a collection of new artworks, inviting visitors to experience another way of imagining light and space. The moonlit atmosphere created by LUNA received an enthusiastic response at the fair, and we were honored to have LUNA specially featured in the official exhibition publication, introducing our work to buyers from around the world.

That year, Ambiente brought together 4,441 exhibitors from 89 countries, welcoming more than 140,000 buyers and visitors from 153 countries. The fair presented the latest products and designs from around the world, offering a valuable perspective on the future of lifestyle and consumer trends.

Participating in Ambiente with FRESH TAIWAN was more than simply taking part in an international trade fair. It was an opportunity for Taiwanese creativity to meet the world. The encounters, stories behind the scenes, and the moonlight of LUNA illuminating a space far from home have all become a memorable chapter in Acorn Studio’s journey.
